Bringing you another edition of Trailer Tuesdays. Late as usual, I’m lazy.

A new movie directed by Ridley Scott and starring Russell Crowe based on the legend of Robin Hood. I believe the last movie based on the character was Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves with Kevin Costner back in ’91. The only other movies I’ve seen were either a comedy, a teen TV movie, or the Disney cartoon, so this should be a treat.

The Last Airbender

Not a big fan of the Nickelodeon animated series but in all honesty I’ve never really seen it. Despite the fact that many people dislike M. Night Shyamalan, I’ve really enjoyed all of his movies since The Sixth Sense. Yes, that includes his last three; The Village, Lady in the Water, and The Happening, which are the ones that garner the most negativity. The visual effects look fantastic and I’m sure this will be a great fantasy film to watch in theaters.

Killers

Really I just put this movie on here because I wanted to say that it looks like a cheap teen comedy version of the movie below. It looks exactly like Knight and Day but not as cool. Ashton Kutcher just CANNOT pull off the role of a government killer dude like Tom Cruise can. And that is the one thing that will definitely make this movie be an epic fail, as the cool kids like to say nowadays.

Knight and Day

Skip the movie Killers mentioned above, wait a month, and watch this one. Many people think he’s crazy with all that scientology stuff, but the fact is, Tom Cruise is fucking awesome in action flicks.

A modern sci-fi thriller directed by Christopher Nolan and starring Leonardo DiCaprio…FUCK YEAH! I’ve loved all movies directed by Nolan since Memento, and I’ve loved DiCaprio’s work in all of his movies since Gangs of New York. This is probably one of my most anticipated movies of the year.
