Here at Your Moonpie Eye we aspire to be the 10th or 12th source for all of your media needs. Frankly, being the 1st or even in the top five seems like too much work. You’ll probably see the same coverage elsewhere and maybe even written better. We’ll do our best to keep it simple though. Something that anyone and everyone can easily read and enjoy without any of them BIG fancy words. This is my excuse but the truth is I’m not a very good writer. If I recall, I pretty much failed all of my English classes in High School.

We occasionally do news/reviews for games, movies, TV shows, comics, music, etc. It’s an ambitious project which has yet to actually bloom. It’s been up for a year and not much content has been posted (though in my own defense, a lot of the posts did get deleted by accident when I revamped the look of the site). Who knows, maybe by next year, we’ll have twice as many posts than we have now! Yay!

For optimal viewing experience, it is recommended that the site be viewed with either of those browsers on a PC or Mac. Some WordPress plugins don’t work properly with browsers from portable devices such as iPhone/iPad and many others.

For those curious about the site name, it’s actually a song title. I’m a huge Jeff Mangum fan and have been in love with his work for many years now.

It’s a weird song, but if you dig it you can buy the full album (or separate mp3s) over at Orange Twin Records. I highly recommend it if you want to listen to something very unique and out of the norm.
