YME has a new design. We hope our readers will enjoy the look. In the next couple of days we will be working out kinks and maybe adding a few features

Note: During the transition to a new theme, many of our old posts were deleted by accident. If you happen to read tweets from the @YourMoonpieEye twitter account that are dated before 2010, you will notice that those links no longer direct to any posts. Many of them still work while others don’t. Unfortunately, there is no way to restore the posts that were lost. Apologies.

Also, the sidebar is gone. I’m still trying to figure out a way to put back the archives widget and the categories widget. Will need to implement those into the top menu bar for easier navigation of older posts.

Alright, I finally got me some Internet and I’ll be posting on YME again. As some of you may have noticed (let’s be honest here, we don’t have many readers), a lot of posts have been removed. I decided to get rid of the old stuff and start the year fresh. I’ve kept some stuff like reviews and such but for the most part everything has been deleted.

I really wanted to give the site a new look as well. Pretty much just update the entire website with SquareSpace. Unfortunately that costs money, which I do not have. Once a bit of cash gets rolling my way, I’ll sign up for the squarespace and redesign the site. For now, it’s still the same old bleak look.

New Changes:

WTF Fridays has been brutally raped and murdered. It started to become a chore having to look for funny or weird videos to talk about. So I’ll no longer be posting those.

Trailer Tuesdays is still alive and kicking but I’ve decided to do it on a biweekly basis. Meaning every two weeks (twice a month).

As of right now, that’s all I can think of. Any future changes will be noted in the Announcements section.

UPDATE: Construction on the site is practically complete. It's been tested on pretty much all major browsers. The only one we found a problem with was the PS3's web browser. If you are visiting this website on your PS3, you most likely aren't seeing it the way it was meant to look. I'd recommend visiting the site on your computer.

Here at Your Moonpie Eye we hope to be the 10th or 12th source for all of your media coverage. Frankly, being in the top five seems like too much work. You’ll probably see the same coverage elsewhere and quite possibly expertly writen. We’ll do our best to keep it simple though. Something that anyone and everyone can quickly read and enjoy without any big fancy words.

We’re going to try to do news/reviews of games, movies, TV shows, comics, music, etc. It is ambitious but it’ll start out slow and hopefully build up in time to be a great website that you’ll all love. Bare with us as construction of the site continues and the media coverage starts to slowly sprinkle down to the fine pages of Your Moonpie Eye.

One last thing, a favor to ask of all who visit. I am currently unemployed, I have no source of income, and “THE MAN” won’t hire me. Please help support me and this site by donating a bit of money. There is no limit or obligation to donate but it would be greatly appreciated.
